I have purchased 2-properties from Jennifer. My first was in 1998 and my second was in 2013.
When I met Jennifer in 1998, we had been working with an agent at another firm who was ALWAYS late and it became extremely frustrating. So we walked into the Zephyr office on 24th Street and asked for a professional real estate agent who was good and ALWAYS on-time. The receptionist called an agent to meet us and that is how we met Jennifer.
At the time, we were motivated buyers looking for a 2 unit building in S.F. We had a lot of requirements for our property (close to mass transit, nice back yard, east/west exposure, parking, etc.). 1998 was a very difficult year for buyers but after less than 30 days we found the right property. We spent at least two hours with Jennifer deciding on the price to offer. Fortunately for us, I had talked to the owner (not knowing at the time that he was the owner). On hearing this, Jennifer decided to include pictures of us in the offer letter. That did the trick, even though we were the 2nd highest offer (off by just a few thousand $ the owner had remembered us and decided to counter us.
In November of 2013, I decided to buy an investment property and I
decided to work with Jennifer again . Unfortunately for me, it is yet again a difficult year for buyers. Luckily, after going around with Jennifer for less than 3 weeks I was able to locate a property that met my criteria. Jennifer
was as always professional, on-time, provided useful advice.
I am a very selective and detailed person who would normally get on the nerves of most agents. Jennifer understood my concerns, comforted me, helped me resolve a few issues and got much more involved (because I asked her to) than any agent should be required to.
